The BloomBelle Story

Hi, I’m Shomaila.

The BloomBelles story started with me as a little girl collecting pretty rocks from the side of the road. I was always looking for that elusive unicorn to add to the collection: the smoothest, most colorful, and perfectly shaped pebble. To others, they may have seemed worthless, but to me, they were the most precious treasure in hiding in my secret box.

Growing up, my passion for finding the prettiest stones stayed with me. In between all of the normal rites of passage (completing school, getting married, having kids), I tried to collect and expand my knowledge of those pretty stones.  The only difference was that this time, I wasn’t collecting riverbank rocks but rather, the real deal: Rose Quartz, Emeralds, Sapphires, Rubies and more became my playground. A way for me to relax and get away from all the noise in the world, and simply create.  

My journey continues, no longer as a little girl collecting rocks but as a skilled artisan creating bespoke, and one-of-a-kind jewellery designs with the prettiest precious and semi-precious gemstones and metals. 

Watching other artists work and use these natural resources to make art gave me so much joy and inspiration. It motivated me to design, and spread color and joy, by sharing handcrafted jewellery pieces with those who I love.  And now, I am taking the next steps and by sharing my handcrafted jewellery pieces with all of you.
